In the middle school category, No.1 Middle School of the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, Hengqin Capital Normal University Ziqi Experimental High School, and the junior high division of Hengqin Rong Hong School led the scoreboard.
Students from Macao also delivered impressive results across multiple events. Students from Pui Ching Middle School and Baptist Middle School excelled in table tennis and athletics, while Fong Chong School of Taipa edged out rivals to clinch the middle school basketball championship—winning by a single point.
More than just a sporting competition, the Games served as a platform for youth exchange and cooperation, reflecting the growing integration between the two regions. Organizers say future editions will continue to foster joint development in sports and education across the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone.
